Who we are

What data we process and why

Contact form: When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. We use them only to answer your inquiry.

Premium access recovery: If you ask us to restore your Premium Zone access, we receive the email address linked to your PayPal payment. We use it only to verify your purchase and resend your access details.

Payments: Payments are processed entirely by PayPal or Buy Me a Coffee on their own websites. We never see or store your card details. After a PayPal payment we receive a transaction confirmation that includes the transaction ID, the amount, and your payer email address, which we store to manage Premium Zone access.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It loads only after you explicitly accept it in our cookie banner — if you decline, no analytics data is collected.

Spam protection: The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect device and usage information. See the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Cookies and local storage

- JSESSIONID (cookie) — technical session cookie, deleted when you close your browser.
- bee_prem (cookie, 360 days) — remembers your Premium Zone access so you do not have to re-enter your access code.
- bee_consent (local storage) — remembers your analytics consent choice (accept or decline).
- beeFontScale (local storage) — remembers your preferred text size.

Legal bases (GDPR)

- Performance of a contract — managing your Premium Zone access and payments.
- Legitimate interest — answering your inquiries and protecting the site against spam and abuse.
- Consent — analytics (Google Analytics 4); you can withdraw it at any time by declining in the cookie banner or clearing the bee_consent entry in your browser.

How long we keep your data

Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the correspondence. Payment records are kept for as long as legal and accounting requirements oblige us to. The bee_prem cookie expires after 360 days.

Who receives your data

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site: PayPal (payments), Buy Me a Coffee (payments), Google (reCAPTCHA and Google Analytics), and our hosting provider (OVH). We never sell your data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at office@bateseyeexercises.com.
